Run For Your Bones 5K
The Run For Your Bones 5K is organized by the Hamilton Junior Women's League to raise funds for charitable organizations serving women and children in Butler County, including Parachute: Butler County CASA. The event takes place in downtown Hamilton and begins and ends at Municipal Brew Works, 20 High St., Hamilton, OH 45011. The route includes side streets and a portion of the downtown bike path.
This family friendly event is stroller and wheelchair accessible. Costumes are encouraged and pets are not permitted. Casual Pint and Municipal Brew Works will provide complimentary hot beverages on race day. A special fifth anniversary medal will be awarded for this edition of the race.
There are two ticket tiers: a 21 and over ticket that includes a T-shirt, a drink ticket redeemable at Casual Pint for a Molson-Coors product or a nonalcoholic beverage, snacks, and a finisher medal; and an under 21 ticket that includes a T-shirt, snacks, and a finisher medal. Shirts are guaranteed for registrations completed by October 13, 2026. An early bird discount of $5 applies to registrations before September 14, 2026. Teams of 10 or more receive a $5 per person discount once the team reaches 10 registrants.
Awards include a Skull Award and gift card for the top three finishers overall, plus top three male and female finishers in age groups 1-10, 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and above. Packet pick up will be available the week of the race with dates and times to be announced; race morning registration and check in will also be available.
