Hit the Brixx
The Hit the Brixx event is a multi-distance running race held in Greensboro, North Carolina. The event features a variety of registration categories and distance options for participants, including in-person and virtual formats. The physical races utilize the Greensboro Elks Lodge on West Cornwallis Drive as a central location.
Participants have several distance options to choose from during the event:
- 5K
- 10K
- 15K (combined 10K and 5K)
The event incorporates a themed element where participants are encouraged to wear Halloween costumes. Special recognition may be provided for notable costumes worn during the races.
Following the conclusion of the running events, a gathering is held at Brixx Pizza on Westover Terrace. This post-race activity features pizza and beer for participants and takes place during the morning hours. In addition to the primary race day, training programs are available through the Greensboro Running Club for various distances, including the 5K, 10K, and 15K. These programs include preparation sessions leading up to the main event dates. Virtual options are also available for those who wish to complete the distances remotely.
