Historic Elizabeth Main Street 5K & Family Color Run
The event in Elizabeth, Colorado includes a 5K Run/Walk and a Family Color Run over a one-mile route. The 5K course runs through historic Main Street and nearby parks and uses a mix of paved and dirt terrain. The Family Color Run is an untimed, family-oriented color run held on the same day following the 5K.
The 5K is officially timed by Colorado Race Timing and uses chip timing; official finish times are recorded and available after the event. To receive an official finish time, participants must register under the 5K registration. Registration fees are listed for each event.
Event amenities and services include:
- 5K Run/Walk, officially timed
- 1 Mile Family Color Run, untimed Participants receive a souvenir bag, a complimentary pancake breakfast, and one complimentary beer or non-alcoholic drink. 5K participants receive a cooling face/neck gaiter or socks as a participant perk. A vendor and business expo will be present. Comprehensive medical staff and a medical tent are available at the start/finish area and along the course.
Packet pick-up is scheduled at Town Hall, 151 S Banner St, Elizabeth on August 27 and August 28. Free street parking is available downtown, with no parking on Main Street between Elm and Spruce Streets. Pets are allowed on Main Street but are not permitted on the race course.
