Hispanic & Latino Half Marathon & 5K
The event at Christian Herter Park celebrates Hispanic and Latino Heritage Month and aims to create a safe, welcoming space for Hispanic and Latino runners. It also raises donations and awareness for local Hispanic and Latino nonprofit organizations and supports local Hispanic and Latino small businesses.

Registration fees are set in tiered releases. Half marathon tiers are: $75 Early Bird for the first 50, $85 First Release for the next 60, $95 Second Release for the next 70, and $105 Final Release for the next 70. 5K tiers are: $27 Early Bird for the first 50, $30 First Release for the next 100, and $33 Second Release for the next 100.
Race amenities and atmosphere are described separately for each distance. Half marathon finishers receive a medal and a burrito from a local Latino small business, Felipe's Taqueria. The 5K emphasizes community and music.
BIB pick up is scheduled for Thursday, September 24 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm and Saturday, September 26 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Charity partners named for the event include Casa Myrna, Hyde Square Task Force, Inquilinos Boricuas en Acción (IBA), and Stride for Stride.
