Event Overview
The Hillsboro Rotary Run 5K and Kids Dash is held in Downtown Hillsboro on the morning of July 4th. Organized by the Hillsboro Rotary Club in partnership with the Downtown Hillsboro Run Club, the event features a course that follows the historic Fourth of July Parade route.

Course and Logistics
The 5K course begins at the Hillsboro Civic Center Fountain, proceeds through various neighborhood streets including N 1st Ave, NE Jackson St, and NE Cornell Rd, before returning to finish at the Civic Center. Walkers and strollers are permitted on the course, though participants must move to the sidewalks to finish if they are still on the route after the designated cut-off time. Dogs are not allowed on the race course.
Packet pick-up is available locally at the Hillsboro Civic Center Fountain. Gear check services are provided at the start and finish line for participants to store personal items during the race.
Participant Information
All finishers in the 5K event receive a race medal, while Kids Dash participants receive a race ribbon. A T-shirt is provided for 5K participants who register by the designated deadline in late June.
