About the race
The Hills Triathlon Club Race 3 is part of the 2026/2027 club series held at the Sydney International Regatta Centre in Penrith with entry through Gate A. Registration and the transition area are located on the grassed island near the grandstand; a course map is available at the registration tent. Parking is provided on the island opposite the transition area, with overflow parking on the southern side of the competition lake.
Event entrants must follow venue speed limits and park only in marked areas. The event uses an electronic timing chip on an ankle band that is issued at registration and must be worn on the left ankle for the entire race; the band must be returned intact after finishing or if withdrawing, otherwise a replacement fee applies. Competitors may need to produce photo ID at registration and only competitors are permitted in transition. Helmets must carry an Australian Standards approval sticker and bikes should be race worthy. A drink station is provided partway along the run leg.
First aid personnel will be on duty at the first aid shed; medical assistance provided by race medical staff will not cause disqualification, but outside assistance may. AUS Triathlon rules apply and any special rules will be announced at the pre-race briefing. The race uses staged or wave starts and a small Dinky Derby for children six years and under may be held after the main event, subject to numbers and volunteer availability.
Light post-race refreshments will be available for competitors, supporters and volunteers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
