About the race
The Hills Triathlon Club Series Race 2 takes place at the Sydney International Regatta Centre, Penrith, with entry through Gate A. Registration and transition are on the grassed island area near the grandstand, and a course map will be available at the registration tent.
Normal entries close on the Wednesday before the race. Late entries close on the Friday before the race at 6pm and incur a $25 late fee. Junior entries are capped. Withdrawal policy: refunds of the race entry fee only are available up to 7 days before the race; no refunds are given within 7 days of the race.
Participants must register at the transition area and may be asked to show ID. An electronic timing chip on an ankle band is issued at registration; competitors must wear it on the left ankle for the entire race and return it at the finish or to the registration tent. A replacement charge of $75 applies for unreturned bands. Qualified first aid personnel will be on duty and a drink station will be located partway along the run course. Toilet blocks are behind the eastern end of the grandstand, about 100 metres from transition.
Parking is available on the island opposite transition with overflow parking on the southern side of the competition lake. AUS Triathlon rules apply; staged or wave starts and a pre-race briefing will be held. A small youth event for children aged 6 and under may be held after the main event subject to numbers and volunteer availability. Live results will be posted on my.raceresult.
