About the race
The Hills Triathlon Club Race 2 is part of the 2026/2027 club series held at the Sydney International Regatta Centre, Penrith, with entry via Gate A. Registration and transition are located on the grassed island area near the grandstand. A map of the event course will be available at the registration tent. Parking is available on the island opposite the transition area, with overflow parking on the southern side of the competition lake; competitors must park in marked areas and follow Regatta Centre directions.
Toilet blocks are located behind the eastern end of the grandstand and in the boat shed behind the grandstand. An electronic timing system using a chip in an ankle timing band will record times. Timing bands are issued at registration, must be worn on the left ankle for the entire race, and returned intact at the finish or registration tent. Competitors who do not return a band are liable for a replacement fee. First aid personnel will be on duty at the first aid shed.
There is a drink station on the run course. Bikes must be race worthy and helmets must carry an Australian Standards approved sticker; helmets must be worn and fastened when in transition. Transition access is controlled and bags must not be left in the area. AUS Triathlon rules apply.
Entries normally close the Wednesday before the race; late entries close on the Friday before the race with an additional $25 fee. Withdrawals up to seven days before the race may be eligible for a refund of the entry fee only; no refunds from seven days to race day. A junior entry cap applies and a Dinky Derby for children aged six and under may be held subject to numbers and volunteers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
