Event overview
The Hills Triathlon Club Season 25/26 Race 3 takes place on 7 December 2025 at the Sydney International Regatta Centre, Penrith. The event includes multiple race categories for juniors and adults, held around the regatta lake with registration and transition on the grassed island near the grandstand. AUS Triathlon rules apply. An electronic timing chip on an ankle band will be used and must be worn and returned; lost bands incur a $75 replacement fee. Qualified first aid personnel will be on duty and a drink station is provided part way along the run leg. Toilets are located behind the eastern end of the grandstand and in the boat shed behind the grandstand.
Distances, entries and rules
- Sprint: 750 m swim / 20 km bike / 5 km run
- Team Sprint: 750 m / 20 km / 5 km
- Aqua Bike: 750 m swim / 20 km bike
- Aqua Run: 750 m swim / 5 km run
- Enticer: 250 m / 10 km / 2.5 km
- 12 year olds: 250 m / 10 km / 2.5 km
- 10-11 year olds: 200 m / 5 km / 1 km
- 7-9 year olds: 100 m / 2.5 km / 500 m
Normal entries close the Thursday before the race; late entries close on the Friday before and incur an additional $20 fee. There is a cap on junior entries for some categories. Registration may require photo ID. Only competitors may enter the transition area; helmets must meet Australian Standards. Competitors must follow event and safety procedures and return timing bands if withdrawing. Refunds for entry fees are available only if requested more than seven days before the race; no refunds are given from seven days before the event.
