Event Overview
The Parklands Running Festival takes place at the Lizard Log Amphitheatre within the Western Sydney Parklands in Abbotsbury. The event features multiple distances conducted through a nature-filled environment. The course is characterized by an undulating terrain that includes several hills, providing a variety of elevation changes for participants.
Participants can choose from four distinct distances:
- Half Marathon
- 10 km
- 5 km
- 2 km Family Dash
The routes are designed to navigate the natural landscape of the parklands. All participants who complete their respective courses receive a themed finisher medal, post-race snacks, and a finisher certificate. Sponsor giveaways are also provided to those taking part.
The event infrastructure includes the ability to transfer registrations between individuals or change distances up to three days before the race. On the morning of the event, participants have the option to downgrade to a shorter distance if needed.
