- 10 km
- 5 km
- 2 km Family Dash
Course, logistics and entries
The course runs through a nature-filled area on paved footpaths and roads with several hilly sections; the first and last 200 m are on grass. All distances are chip timed by Multisport Australia. Finishers receive a themed medal, post-race snacks, sponsor giveaways and a finisher certificate. There are no cut off times for the 2 km, 5 km or 10 km events; the Half Marathon has a 4-hour cut off.
The event is only reachable by car early on race day. Large carparks are available on the east and west sides of Lizard Log and a grass overflow car park may be used; the overflow may require a 4WD depending on weather. Race bibs are printed three weeks before the event and posted two weeks before; names will appear on bibs only if registration is completed at least three weeks out. A photographer will be on course and photos will be posted after the race. Organisers note that pedestrians, cyclists and dogs will also use the paths and recommend participants remain aware of others. Entry fees vary by distance and registration period; early-bird fees start at $28 (2 km) and go up to $80 (Half Marathon), with late fees reaching $110 for the Half Marathon.
