Event overview
The Parklands Running Festival takes place on 14 June 2026 at Lizard Log in Western Sydney Parklands, Abbotsbury, NSW. The event offers four race distances and an event village with registration, bib collection, bag drop and sponsor tents. All finishers receive a themed medal, post-race snacks, sponsor giveaways and a finisher certificate.

Course and logistics
The course runs through a nature-filled area on paved footpaths and roads and is described as undulating with several hills. The first and last 200 m of the course are on grass. Organisers note there will be other pedestrians, cyclists and dogs on the paths and advise participants to pay attention and avoid earphones. A photographer will be present and photos will be posted after the race.
Timing, entries and other details
All distances are chip timed by Multisport Australia. There is no cut-off for the 2 km, 5 km or 10 km; the Half Marathon has a four-hour cut-off. Race bibs are printed three weeks before the event and posted two weeks out; to have a name on a bib, registration should be completed at least three weeks before the race. The event is primarily accessible by car; large carparks are available east and west of Lizard Log via Horsley Drive, with a grass overflow car park usable by 4WD depending on weather.
