Event Overview
Hilloween is a family-oriented sports event held at the Omao Dirt Track on the south shore of Kauai. The event takes place on land opened to the public by the Knudsen Trust and is supported by the Garden Island Motorcycle Club. Participants are encouraged to wear costumes, as primary prizes are awarded based on attire rather than finishing times. The event serves as a fundraiser for the Kauai Ballet Academy Foundation to provide dance tuition scholarships.

The 5 km trail run features an off-road course consisting of hills and obstacles. High school cross country team members from the KIF are eligible for specific registration arrangements. For younger participants aged 0-12, the Keiki Trick-or-Treat Run offers a short off-road path with stations managed by volunteers. Each child in this category receives a tote bag for collected items.
This event is pet-friendly, allowing leashed animals to participate and enter a pet costume contest. On-site amenities include food and beverage vendors offering items such as bagel sandwiches, acai bowls, and coffee.
