Hill Thrill 5k and 10 Mile Road Race
The Hill Thrill Road Race is scheduled for March 29, 2026 in Haverhill, Massachusetts at 137 Monument St. The event offers two distance options:
- 5k Run/Walk
- 10 mile Run
Proceeds support the Michelle Benedetti Memorial Scholarship Fund, which awards four yearly scholarships to students at Haverhill High School. The race is presented by the scholarship fund and includes an afterparty at Maria's Restaurant on Essex Street.
Course details are provided for both distances. The 5k route features rolling hills. The 10 mile course runs approximately seven relatively flat miles before meeting hills in the final three miles; the 10 mile field will be sent out with a small head start from the 5k group.
All participants receive event t shirts and a custom Ashworth Award die cast medallion that can stand on its own. Prizes are offered for the top three male and female finishers across multiple age brackets. Additional event elements include raffles and event merchandise available for purchase. Past editions attracted several hundred registrations.
