48th Annual Hill & Dale 8 Miler
The event is an 8 mile road and paved path race held on January 2, 2027 at Meeman-Shelby Forest State Park in Millington, Tennessee. The course runs through park roads and paved trails and is USATF certified as an 8 mile course (Certificate TN20013MS).
Two registration options are offered: an entry that includes a race shirt and an entry without a shirt. The shirt entry has a stated registration cutoff for receiving a shirt on race day that is to be determined. Registration opening and closing dates are provided by the organizer; prices change on December 24, 2026. No on site race day registration will be available; registration must be completed on a personal device before arrival.
Timing for the race will use electronic chip timing provided by the Memphis Runners Track Club. Race packet pickup details are to be determined, with race day packet pickup noted as available. Participants are advised that the start and finish area is inside the park on Grassy Lake Road and that arrival may require extra time for travel, parking, and warm up.
