Hill & Dale 8 Miler

The 48th Annual Hill & Dale 8 Miler is scheduled for January 2, 2027, at Meeman-Shelby Forest State Park in Millington, Tennessee.

The 8 miles course runs on park roads and paved paths and passes through the hills and dales within the park. The course holds USATF certification for an 8-mile distance (Certificate #TN20013MS).

Registration opens May 24, 2026. Two entry options are listed: with a race shirt for $25 and without a race shirt for $15. Registration deadlines differ by option; the shirt option closes December 24, 2026, and the no-shirt option closes December 22, 2026. Prices increase on December 24. There is no onsite race day registration; registration must be completed on a registrant’s own device before arrival.

The event will be chip timed by the Memphis Runners Track Club. Packet pickup details are to be determined; race-day packet pickup will be available and registration will be located in the pavilion near the start/finish area.
