High Mountain Half Marathon Decade Anniversary 2026
The High Mountain Half Marathon Decade Anniversary 2026 is held over a weekend in Lakeside, Arizona, centered at Blue Ridge High School. The event program includes several running events and community activities around the school and nearby roads and paths.
The half marathon is a point-to-point course. Runners are bused from Blue Ridge High School to the start and finish at the Blue Ridge High School track. The route passes through cedar and pine trees, travels down Porter Mountain, and enters the town of Pinetop/Lakeside.

A four hour time limit is set for half marathon and power walking participants to reach the finish. Participants who have not reached the finish by the cut off may be transported by race personnel; if they continue on their own they must move to the side of the roadway. Police will allow vehicle traffic to resume when the course opens to traffic.
The Friday evening glow event covers loops around the school where parts of the course are not well lit; participants may bring glow lights, hand lamps, or flashlights. The glow event is non-timed and includes a t shirt with entry. The kids 1K is free and a shirt and medal are provided to the first 75 registrants.
