Event Information
The Deuces Wild Runs are part of the Deuces Wild Endurance Festival. The events take place regardless of weather conditions. They are scheduled for May 30-31, 2026. Registration is managed by the ACTIVE Network. Multiple running events are offered across the two days.
Running Distances
The festival offers the following running events:
- Saturday: Road Runs
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles): A two-loop course on paved roads and dirt paths around Fool Hollow State Park.
- 10K: A course on paved roads and gravel paths around Fool Hollow Lake.
- 5K: A course within Fool Hollow Lake park on paved roads and groomed trails.
- Sunday: Trail Run
- 8K Trail Run: A trail run on a route through the forest near Fool Hollow Lake, featuring hills and flat terrain.
Course Details
All Saturday road run courses start and finish in the same area at Fool Hollow Lake and State Park in Arizona's White Mountains. They use a mix of paved roads, gravel paths, and groomed scenic trails. Runners pass through campgrounds. The half marathon is a two-loop course with an additional hill loop on the first lap. The 8K trail run on Sunday starts near a boat ramp and follows trails above the lake.
Aid Stations & Amenities
For the half marathon and 10K, aid stations are placed approximately every mile and are stocked with water, Gatorade, and light snacks. The 5K has aid stations at miles 1 and 2. The entry fee for all running events includes accurate chip timing, electronic results, a finisher medal, a t-shirt, and post-race food (bagels and fruit). A cut-off time of 2:30 PM applies to the half marathon and 10K events. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
