High Lodge Half Marathon - Autumn
The High Lodge Half Marathon - Autumn is a circular 13.1 mile trail event held in Thetford Forest at High Lodge, Brandon, IP27 0AF. The route passes through forest trails and a variety of terrains, including hard-packed sand, grassy footpaths and other multi-terrain surfaces. Wildlife in the area includes fallow deer and wild thyme.
The event is traffic free and manually timed. Professional photography is provided and the route is described as well signed. The race is cupless; fresh drinking water will be available at refill points but no disposable cups will be provided. Toilets are available at the start and finish area.
Entry details shown include an entry fee of £25 / £27 and a race cut-off time of 3.5 hours. Minimum age to enter is 17 years. Race numbers must be collected at the event and will not be posted out in advance. A finisher medal is listed, with a separate note indicating an additional charge for a medal in some information; trophies are awarded to the top three male and female finishers.
Participants enter at their own risk. Medical assistance is available during the event but the organisers and landowners accept no liability for injuries.
