About the race
High Lodge Half Marathon – Autumn is a 13.1-mile circular trail race in Thetford Forest at High Lodge, Brandon, IP27 0AF. The multi-terrain course combines hard-packed trails, forest paths, sand and grassy footpaths, delivering woodland scenery for road runners and trail enthusiasts alike. The event is traffic-free and cupless, with water available at the start/finish for refills.
All finishers receive an eco-friendly medal, and podium trophies are awarded to the top three male and female finishers. The route, under a TRA permit, runs through rich wildlife including fallow deer and wild thyme, with well-signed paths and on-site toilets.
