High Lodge 10K Guided Trail Run : July 26 2026
This is a guided group trail run of 10 km held at High Lodge in Thetford Forest, Brandon, Suffolk (IP27 0AF). The event is scheduled for 26 July 2026 and is organised as a conversational-paced group run rather than a race. Participants are placed into groups by reported recent times to join others of similar ability.
The route uses a variety of woodland terrain, including hard-packed trails and single-track paths through the woods. The organiser describes the course as mostly flat with very few obstacles. The session is planned to allow up to two hours to complete the run, though actual duration will depend on the abilities of those attending.
Parking is available at High Lodge with a charge of £4 for attendees. Entry cost for the event is £12.50.
Recommended kit includes trail shoes where possible (road shoes are acceptable if needed), a waterproof jacket and sun protection depending on weather, at least 500 ml of water, and snacks as required. The run is led at a conversational pace to allow participants to take in the surroundings and ask questions.
