The High Easter 10k takes place on 14 June 2026 in the village of High Easter, Essex. The event is a 10k road race starting and finishing at The Village Hall, The Street, High Easter, CM1 4QS. It forms part of the Essex County 10k Championships. Open to entrants aged 15 and over on the race date.
Course, entries and other details
The course is a single-loop on quiet country lanes, run on tarmac and described as flat and fast, with a road closure at the start. Entries and prices are listed in the range of £26 to £30, with an on-the-day entry fee shown as £30 subject to availability. All finishers receive a technical t-shirt. A £100 cash prize is available to the leading male and female who beat the course records (Men 30:40 / Women 33:49).
Championship eligibility requirements are stated: entrants need a current England Athletics affiliation and a valid URN to take part in the Essex County Championships; they must have been born in Essex or resident in the county for more than nine months; and they must not have competed in another county championship (other than Essex) in the same calendar year. Off-street parking is available free of charge close to race HQ. The event supports local charities, with donations split between St Mary’s Church High Easter, Monday Muster (a local dementia group), and Braintree Food Bank.
