High Easter 10k

The High Easter 10k is a road race held in the village of High Easter, Essex, with the race hub at The Village Hall, The Street, CM1 4QS. The course is a single-loop 10-kilometre route on tarmac country lanes, described as flat and fast, with a road closure at the start. The event forms part of the Essex County 10k Championships.

Entry, facilities and other details

Standard entry is listed at £28, with an on-the-day fee of £30 (subject to availability). Entrants must be aged 15 or over on the race date. All finishers receive a technical t-shirt. A cash prize of £100 is offered to the leading male and female runners who beat the course records (Men 30:40; Women 33:49). Championship entry requires a current England Athletics affiliation with a valid URN, Essex birth or at least nine months residence, and no prior participation in another county championship event in the same calendar year; the race may also be entered without taking part in the championships. The event supports three local charities—St Mary’s Church High Easter, Monday Muster, and Braintree Food Bank—and donations can be made during booking.
