Inov8 High Cup Nick Fell Race : basic information
The Inov8 High Cup Nick Fell Race is scheduled for 28 February 2026 in Dufton, in the North Pennines / Eden Valley region. The venue for registration is Dufton Village Hall, CA16 6DB, with the race starting and finishing on the village green. The event is a fundraiser for the upkeep of the village hall.
Course and facilities
The route runs from Dufton to High Cup Nick and back, with a return section mostly along the Pennine Way. The course distance is 15 km with approximately 450 m of ascent. Registration and post-race refreshments are served in the village hall; a homemade soup and roll are included in the entry fee. A dedicated car parking area has been organised in a field just outside the village and participants and spectators are asked to use it.
Entry, rules and permissions
Entry is by pre-entry only; entry on the day is not available. Entries open 28 November 2025 and close 27 February 2026. The entry fee is £15. Minimum age is 18 years. Teams are permitted. Full Fell Runners Association (FRA) kit is required and the race holds a permit with associated FRA/UK Athletics insurance. Entrants should be capable of completing the course in under 2.5 hours.
