Event overview
The Inov8 High Cup Nick Fell Race is a fell race from Dufton to High Cup Nick and back. The course covers 15 km (9.3 miles) with about 460 m (1,509 ft) of climb. The route goes to High Cup Nick and returns mostly along the Pennine Way into the village of Dufton. The race starts and finishes on the Village Green and registration is based at Dufton Village Hall (CA16 6DB). The event holds a permit with associated UK Athletics insurance from the FRA.
Entry and practical information
Pre-entry is required; entry on the day is not available. The entry fee is £15.00. Entries open 28 November 2025 and close 27 February 2026. Minimum age is 18 and there are no junior races. Teams are allowed. Full FRA kit is required. Organisers request that entrants should be able to complete the course in under 2.5 hours. Homemade soup and a roll are included in the entry fee and refreshments are available in the village hall. A special car parking area has been arranged in a field outside the village to reduce congestion in Dufton.
