Hickory Foundation YMCA Turkey Trot 5K, 10K and Youth Fun Run
The event marks the 25th annual Hickory Turkey Trot on November 21, 2026 at the Hickory Foundation YMCA, 701 1st St NW, Hickory, NC 28601. It includes in-person road races and youth and virtual options organized by the YMCA.
In-person offerings include a 5K Run/Walk and a 10K Run. A Youth Fun Run is provided for children ages 12 and under; the kids' course takes place in the field behind the YMCA and parents are welcome to join. Registration fees listed for in-person events are $25 for the 5K, $30 for the 10K, and $15 for the Youth Fun Run.
Two virtual Phantom events allow participants to run or walk at a time and place that is convenient and safe. The Phantom events accept routes such as local 5K or 10K courses, neighborhood loops, trails, laps on a track, or treadmill runs, and participants need not live in North Carolina. Phantom registration fees are $30.
