Frosty 5K : Lincolnton
The Frosty 5K is a community run and walk held on December 19 that begins at Gaston College and follows a course through downtown Lincolnton. The event uses electronic timing and includes a midcourse water station on the route.
Race registration includes a Frosty 5K hoodie; quantities are limited and hoodies were guaranteed through December 1. Packet pickup is offered the day before the event on December 18 and there is also packet pickup available on the morning of the race. Same‑day registration is available.
Santa will be present after the race for photos and cookies with participants, children, and families. Proceeds from the event support the YMCA Annual Campaign, which targets community issues such as the academic achievement gap, obesity, and social isolation.
