Hi Sugar 5K

Hi Sugar 5K is presented by the Louisiana Sugarcane Festival and is based at Bayou Fitness, 300 W. Main Street, New Iberia, LA 70560. Walkers are welcome. The 5K course starts and finishes in Downtown New Iberia. The event concludes with post-race food, drinks, and awards.

T-shirts are not guaranteed for participants who register after 2026-09-18. Registration fees listed for the events are $25.00 for the 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk and $30.00 for the 5K Run/Walk.

Age groups are organized as follows: 1-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. Awards for the 5K include Top Overall Male and Female and first Male and Female in each age group.
