Event Details
This annual event has been running since 1987 and takes place on Father's Day in Bright's Grove, Sarnia, Ontario. It features multiple activities: a professionally chip-timed 10 km road race, a chip-timed 5 km run, a 5 km walk, and a 7 km bike ride. A free children's adventure course is also available.
All paid participants and volunteers receive a free pancake and sausage breakfast. Spectators can purchase breakfast for an additional fee. A virtual participation option is available for those unable to attend in person.
Location and Logistics
The event starts and finishes at Mike Weir Park, located at 2354 Lakeshore Road in Bright's Grove.
Race kit pickup will be at Lambton Mall in the promo court in front of Bath & Body Works on the following dates:
- Friday, June 19 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
- Saturday, June 20 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
Purpose
All proceeds from the event stay within the local community and benefit the youth of Huron House Boys' Home, supporting youth mental health. It is one of the organization's largest fundraising events. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
