About the race
The Cavalier Homes Hexman Triathlon takes place at Victoria Park Lake in Shepparton, Victoria on 14 March 2027. The event is organised by the Shepparton Triathlon Club and forms part of Victoria’s Rural Race Series. The lakeside venue includes parkland, paths, and nearby community facilities.
The Hexman event offers multiple race options and youth races:
- Hexman (ages 15+): Swim 650m (1 lap), Bike 30km (4 laps), Run 7km (2 laps). Teams of two or three are permitted.
- Enticer (ages 12+): Swim 250m, Bike 10km, Run 3.5km.
- Aquabike: Swim 650m, Bike 30km.
- Kids races: 7–9 years (Swim 50m, Bike 2km, Run 1km) and 10–11 years (Swim 100m, Bike 4km, Run 2km).
Race courses use lap formats for swim, bike and run segments as specified for each distance. The event notes scenic local landscapes including river red gum forests and highlights a community atmosphere with post-race gatherings for participants and spectators. Race maps are provided for swim, bike and run laps and the Hexman bike course consists of four equal laps while the run uses two laps.
