Heroes Run 2026
The South Florida First Responders Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, hosts a community benefit race in Pompano Beach, Florida on November 28, 2026. The event is organized to raise funds for mental health services that support First Responders and their families.
The event program includes multiple certified course distances and welcomes runners, walkers, and spectators from the region. Participants are expected to include members of the local running community as well as First Responders from Police, Fire Rescue, Ocean Rescue, Military, and other services.

Proceeds from the event will be donated to organizations that provide direct assistance and services to First Responders. Beneficiaries named for this event include Stomping Out the Stigma, which provides free and confidential mental health counseling for First Responders and Military Personnel with no names, no insurance, and no reports; the First Responders Foundation (Florida Chapter), which rescues and trains shelter dogs to become service animals; the Broward County Sheriff's Foundation; the Pompano Beach Fire Rescue Benevolent Association; and the Pompano Beach Ocean Rescue Benevolent Association.
