About the race
The South Florida First Responders Foundation presents the 2026 Heroes Run in Pompano Beach, Florida on November 28, 2026. The event is a community benefit race that donates all proceeds to local nonprofit organizations that provide mental health and support services for first responders and their families. Runners, walkers, and spectators from the region are expected to attend, including members of the local running community and first responders from Police, Fire Rescue, Ocean Rescue, Military, and related services.

- Free Community Kids Run
Proceeds from the event will be donated to 501(c)(3) organizations named by the organizer, including South Florida First Responders Foundation, Stomping Out the Stigma, First Responders Foundation (Florida Chapter), and The Broward County Sheriff's Foundation.
