Heroes Run 2026
Heroes Run 2026 is a community road race organized by the South Florida First Responders Foundation to support the mental wellness of local first responders. The event takes place at Pompano Beach Pier on November 28, 2026 and includes multiple race distances for different ages and abilities.

- 1 Mile Run
- Kids Run (free)
Organizers list several updates for 2026 based on participant feedback. Finisher medals have been redesigned for greater durability, and participant shirts have updated fabric, fit, and styling. The course design is being revised in coordination with the City of Pompano Beach to improve runner flow and to remove a tight turn near the start and finish; final course details are pending.
Registered participants will be entered into Race Day drawings, with a grand prize to be announced. The event is supported by local sponsors and partners and emphasizes year-over-year improvements to the race experience while raising funds for first responder mental health programs.
