Heroes for Hope 5K - Cave City
This community event is hosted by The CALL in Sharp and Independence Counties and the Sharp County Sheriff Foundation to support children in foster care, local law enforcement public service missions, and families in need across Sharp County.
The program includes a 5K Run/Walk, a free kids fun run, and a virtual runner option for those who wish to participate remotely. Participants are encouraged to dress as their favorite heroes to create an energetic atmosphere. The course starts and finishes in Cave City Park on W. South Street in Cave City, AR 72521. Parking is available on the grassy lot across from the park.
Registration opens July 23, 2026 and closes October 9, 2026. The entry fee is $30. Packet pickup will be at Cave City Park on race day beginning at 8:00 AM on Saturday, October 10. Race day registration is available from 8:00 to 8:30 AM.
Events are planned rain or shine. In the event of adverse weather conditions the Race Director, in communication with local law enforcement and the city, may delay, cancel, or alter the course. Adverse weather includes tornado warnings or watches, thunderstorms, heavy rain, or other extreme weather; light to moderate rain is not considered adverse. If the race is canceled, entries will be deferred to the following year and no refunds will be issued. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
