About the race
Heroes for Hope is organized by The CALL in Sharp and Independence Counties and the Sharp County Sheriff Foundation in Cave City, Arkansas. The event centers on a 5K Run/Walk held at Cave City Park and includes a free kids fun run and a virtual runner option for participants who wish to support remotely. Participants are encouraged to dress as their favorite heroes to create a themed atmosphere.
Registration opens 7/23/2026 and closes 10/9/2026. The stated registration fee is $30. Packet pickup will take place at Cave City Park on race day. Race day registration will also be available.
Parking is available on the grassy lot across from Cave City Park.
The event is described as planned to proceed rain or shine, with the Race Director able to delay, cancel, or alter the course if local authorities and the city determine conditions are unsafe. Adverse weather that may prompt those actions includes Tornado Warning, Tornado Watch, Thunderstorm, Heavy Rain, or other extreme weather; light to moderate rain is not considered an adverse weather condition.
If the race is canceled entries will be deferred to the following year; refunds are not offered. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
