Hero-Up 5K and Kids' Race and Virtual 5K
This event includes an in-person 5K and a kids race at Cook Park in Tigard, Oregon, plus a virtual 5K option. The main event date is 2026-09-05. The in-person 5K and virtual 5K have an entry fee; the kids race is free to enter. Youth race shirts are available for an additional fee.

Virtual entrants submit their time by text message or web form and may include a link to Strava or Garmin Connect to mark results as verified. In-person participants receive medals; the kids race awards a participation medal to each child. Registration opens in June and closes in September for the listed events; fees apply as noted.
All race net proceeds are designated for children's cancer research. Over the past 12 years the organization reports donations totaling $484,500 to the Pediatric Brain Tumor Bank at OHSU and to the Children's Cancer Therapy Development Institute.
