Hero Hustle: Battle of the Badges

Hero Hustle: Battle of the Badges is a community running event held on Park Drive in Potosi, Missouri, and organized by KB Gives Back. Local Fire, Law Enforcement, and EMS agencies compete in a points-based "Battle of the Badges" while participants run or walk to support a local scholarship fund.

Proceeds from the event support the KB Gives Back Scholarship Fund, which provides assistance for local students pursuing higher education, trade schools, technical programs, or other career paths after graduation. Participants indicate which department they wish to support at registration and that department receives points in the competition.

• 1 mile run/walk

Standard registration is listed at $45.00 with an age discount: ages 4–11 are $35 and children 3 and under are free. The event features a customized finisher medal and an event T-shirt. A "Touch a Truck" area lets the community and children interact with first responder vehicles such as fire trucks, an ambulance, and cop cars; a helicopter appearance is listed as pending weather.
