Heritage Days Fall 5K & 5 Mile : New Richmond, WI
The Heritage Days Fall event takes place on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at the Heritage Center, 1100 Heritage Dr, New Richmond, WI 54017. The event offers the following distances:

Course, logistics and extras
Both run and walk options use the paved trail system and rural country roads around New Richmond. The 5K is an out-and-back course and the 5 Mile is a loop. The event is chip timed by MTEC Events and results are available immediately. The race starts and finishes at the Heritage Center during the Heritage Days weekend. The course will be marked with orange arrows; course marshals will staff major turns, police will be at major intersections, and an ambulance sweep will follow the course.
Registration opens January 1, 2026. Entry price listed is $30 for each distance. Packet pickup is available Friday evening at the pavilion spaghetti dinner and on Saturday morning. Long sleeve cotton blend T-shirts are guaranteed to participants who register before the deadline. Awards are given in 10-year age groups; first place age-group winners receive a pie, and second and third receive barn bucks usable at the flea market. The race benefits the Heritage Center and its educational programs. The Heritage Days Family Festival follows the race and includes a farmers market, flea market, vendors, exhibits, a petting zoo, stagecoach rides, and food.
