Here and Now Project Seventh Annual 5K For Today
The Here and Now Project presents a hybrid 5K event that includes an in-person run, walk, and roll at Rogers High School in Puyallup, Washington, and a virtual option. The in-person gathering is based at Rogers High School, 12801 86th Ave E, Puyallup, WA 98373, with parking available on site. The on-site course uses Rogers High School facilities and the Nathan Chapman Trail. The virtual option can be completed from any location between August 9 and August 16.
Packet pickup is offered in two ways. Pre-race packet pickup takes place at Fleet Feet Puyallup, 115 S Meridian, Puyallup, WA 98371, on Saturday, August 8 from 1:00-4:00 pm. Race day packet pickup is located at the Rogers High School registration area on the day of the on-site event from 11:00-11:55 am. Virtual participants will have their race packet and swag mailed to them.
All participants receive a race bib, sticker, and an event T-shirt. Short sleeve T-shirts are available in unisex, women’s, and youth sizes; a unisex long sleeve shirt is available for an additional fee. T-shirt availability is not guaranteed for late registrations; limited extra short sleeve shirts may be provided subject to availability and sizing.
The event supports the paralysis community. Proceeds fund direct outreach to people who are newly injured, private support groups, recreational activities, and annual gatherings. Participants may register individually or form teams and may create individual or team fundraisers. Pets are required to remain on a leash at all times.
