Herdy’s Frontyard Ultra is scheduled for Friday 13 March 2026 at Herdsman Lake, Herdsman, Western Australia. The event is part of the Ultra Series Australia calendar and takes place on a circuit around Herdsman Lake. The course uses a loop of 6.71 km.
Race format and other details
Runners complete a single 6.71 km loop every hour, on the hour, and continue repeating the loop until only one runner remains. Runners who time out on a loop or who do not continue are recorded as DNF. The race notes that completing 24 hours of the loop equals 100 miles. Entries for the event are open. Volunteer positions are available; volunteers receive 20% off a future Ultra Series event (discount can be accrued). The event has previously seen a national record set on the circuit in 2021.
