Event overview
The Berryville Turkey Trot is scheduled for Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Clarke County Parks & Recreation, 225 Al Smith Circle, Berryville, VA. The event is the fourth annual running and includes a course on the park fitness trail and the roadway coming into the park. The start and finish are located in front of the parks & rec. building and mile markers will be posted along the course. The race is supported by the Shenandoah Valley Runners, with chip timing provided by 5 Runners Racing. A fire truck and an ambulance will be on site for public viewing.

Location, entries and awards
Entry fees listed are $35 for the 5K and $25 for the 1 Mile Kids Fun Run; fees increase in late October and Shenandoah Valley Runners members receive a $3 discount. To guarantee a runner T-shirt, registration is required by November 2. For insurance and safety, dogs on leashes, baby strollers, and headphones are not allowed. Bib pick up is available the day before at the John H. Enders Fire and Rescue Co. social hall or at the race registration table before the races.
Awards include overall trophy plaques to the top three finishers (male and female) in each race, medals for the top three in each 10-year age group in the 5K, and masters awards for 40 and over. The event will offer frozen turkeys and other door prizes; winners must be present to claim door prizes. The race is partnering with FISH of Clarke County Food Pantry and will collect non-glass canned and boxed food and personal care items.
