Henry's Thanksgiving Day Hustle 5K & 1/2 Mile Kids Dash takes place on November 26, 2026 at Marlowe Middle School in Lake in the Hills, Illinois. The event benefits the Muscular Dystrophy Association and is presented by Kopf Running. Distances offered include:
- 5K chip-timed road race with chip start and online results
- 1/2 Mile Kids Dash free youth race
The 5K entry includes a T-shirt (sizing guaranteed only through November 2, 2026), a goodie bag, automatic entry into raffle prize drawings, and access to a post-race party with music, refreshments, and awards. The free Kids Dash also includes a T-shirt with the same sizing guarantee, a goodie bag, kid-friendly raffle drawings, and a post-race party with snacks and activities.
Race timing will provide finish times for 5K participants; age-group medals are planned for top finishers across standard divisions, and overall winners will receive medals and additional prizes. Water will be available on course at about the 1.6 mile mark. Packet pick-up is scheduled the day before at an off-site location and on race morning at Marlowe Middle School. Parking is at the front (East) lot with access through the building to the gym; the race starts on the back (West) side. Age rules, stroller policy, and prohibited items apply.
