Henley Triathlon

The Henley Triathlon takes place at Henley Leisure Centre and within the grounds of Gillotts School in Oxfordshire on Sunday 6 June 2027. The event uses the centre's heated indoor pool for the swim, a rural Oxfordshire countryside cycle route, and a flat grass run course around the school grounds. Transitions are split between the leisure centre and the school playing field.

Facilities on site include hot and cold food, refreshments, toilets and a large grass area for spectators. Dogs are not permitted on the school playing field. The event is chip timed and all finishers receive an official medal. Competitors must count their own swim lengths and laps on the bike and run, and cycle helmets are compulsory for the bike section.

A non-competitive TriTogether wave and a Cancer Research UK (CRUK) Wave are offered. UK Triathlon will donate £10 from every CRUK Wave entry to Cancer Research UK. There is also a separate Kids Fun Triathlon on the Saturday for 5 to 16 year olds; the kids event was oversubscribed in 2026 with over a thousand children entered.

• Sprint - 400m swim, 25km cycle, 5km run, 16 years minimum
• Super Sprint - 200m swim, 12.5km cycle, 2.5km run, 16 years minimum
• Fun - 200m swim, 12.5km cycle, 2.5km run, 16 years minimum
• Sprint Relay - 400m swim, 25km cycle, 5km run, team of 2 or 3
• CRUK Wave - 200m swim, 12.5km cycle, 2.5km run
