Henley Triathlon - Henley-on-Thames
The Henley Triathlon takes place at Henley Leisure Centre and within the grounds of Gillotts School in Oxfordshire on Sunday 6 June 2027. The event is celebrating over 18 years and uses a heated indoor 25m pool for the swim, a rural Oxfordshire bike route with some undulations, and a flat grass run course inside the school grounds. Transitions are split between the leisure centre and the school playing field.
All races are chip timed and all finishers receive an official medal. Competitors must count their own pool lengths and laps on the bike and run. Wearing a cycle helmet on the bike section is compulsory.
Facilities at the venue include hot and cold food, refreshments, toilets and a large grass area for families. Dogs are not allowed on the school playing field.
Relay teams can consist of two or three people; each member completes one or two disciplines and teams pass the electronic chip in transition. The event also includes a CRUK Wave aimed at fundraising for Cancer Research UK; UK Triathlon will donate £10 from every CRUK Wave entry to Cancer Research UK.
