Henley Triathlon
The Henley Triathlon takes place on Sunday 6th June 2027 at Henley Leisure Centre and within the grounds of Gillotts School, Oxfordshire. The event uses an indoor heated pool for the swim, a rural Oxfordshire bike course with some undulations, and a flat, grass run within the school grounds. Transitions are split between the leisure centre and the school playing field.
Facilities at the venue include hot and cold food, refreshments, toilets and a large grass area for spectators and families. Dogs are not allowed on the school playing field. The event is electronically chip timed and all finishers receive an official medal.
All competitors must count their own swim lengths and laps on bike and run. Wearing a cycle helmet on the bike section is compulsory. There are relay options and a CRUK Wave aimed at participants raising funds for Cancer Research UK; the CRUK Wave uses the shorter distances and is non-competitive in spirit.
A separate Kids Fun Triathlon for 5 to 16 year olds runs on the Saturday. Full race day information, transitions maps and lap details are provided to competitors before the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
