Henley River Half Marathon, 10K & Junior Race
The Henley River running event takes place along the banks of the River Thames in Henley-on-Thames. The course features a fast and undulating trail through local landscapes, with the start and finish located at Temple Island Meadows, known as the launch point for the Royal Henley Rowing Regatta.
The event offers several distance options on mixed terrain:
- Half Marathon: A race consisting of one mini lap followed by two full laps, with a total elevation gain of 98m.
- 10K: A single-lap course with a total elevation gain of 46m.
- Junior Race: An out-and-back course designed for participants under the age of 11.
Each kilometer is marked with distance flags, and marshals are stationed throughout the course to provide guidance. Participants receive chip-timed results and access to free race photos. An event village is available on-site, offering various food and drink options as well as post-race items from event partners.
All finishers receive a unique themed medal. While event t-shirts are not included in the standard entry fee to provide a lower cost for participants, they are available for purchase during the registration process.
