About the race
The Hendred Fun Run and Walk is a community event held at Hendred Sports Club in East Hendred. It features a 5K trail run and walk on an undulating circular course around the village, starting and finishing at the Sportsground. The event caters to various age groups, including tweens, teens, adults, and seniors, with a maximum of 180 entrants.
Additionally, there is a 1K kids' fun run with two laps around the Sportsground featuring fun obstacles, designed for children in school years 1-6. The event promotes a friendly atmosphere and requires adult supervision for participants under 12. Dogs are not allowed on the course.
