The Helvetia Wine Run 5k takes place on Saturday, June 20, 2026 at Helvetia Vineyards & Winery in Hillsboro, Oregon. The event features a timed 5k run and additional volunteer-and-run slots. Results are timed and scored by J3 Timing and will be posted online.
Registration includes a super soft ring spun cotton T-shirt, a shatterproof collapsible wine glass, a finisher medal that doubles as a wine stopper, a chip-timed race bib, an online results posting, and a pour of wine. Packet pickup is held on race day morning beginning one hour before the event.
The course follows vineyard roads and paths and is described as a scenic tour of the property. There are sections of rugged footing, four hills with around 200 feet of total elevation change, and uneven ground; trail shoes are advised. The site is also reported to be a habitat for 30 to 40 elk, so participants should expect natural trail conditions.
Age group awards are offered for top finishers in ten-year categories with awards available only on the day of the event and available for pickup at the registration table. Minors are permitted and children in strollers may participate for free though strollers are not recommended due to course terrain.
