Hell Hath No Hurry is a looped trail race held at Settlers Cabin Park in Carnegie, Pennsylvania. Organized by Hell Hath No Profit, a 501(c)(3) organization, the event focuses on showcasing local trails and fostering a community atmosphere. The course consists of a 10 km loop featuring single-track trails with hills, roots, and mud. All events conclude by 8:00 PM, and participants must begin their final lap by 6:00 PM.
The event offers several distance options based on the 10 km loop:
- 10k: A single loop through the woods.
- 30k: Three loops on the marked trail course.
- 50k: Five loops, categorized as an ultramarathon distance.
- 50 Miles: Eight loops for solo runners or relay teams.
- 40k Challenge: A combination of the 10k and 30k races.
- 60k Challenge: A combination of the 10k and 50k races.
Two aid stations support the runners. The main station at the start and finish provides water, electrolyte drinks, and snacks like PB&J, chips, and pretzels. A halfway station offers additional beverages and homemade food. Solo participants in the longer distances may access personal aid areas or their vehicles at the completion of each lap.
The race center is located at Cayuga Shelter, which features a nearby playground for spectators. Participants receive custom technical running socks, and those who complete their registered distance receive hand-crafted finisher awards. A post-race cookout featuring hot dogs, hamburgers, and vegetarian options begins in the mid-afternoon. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
