Hell Creek 100 at Wilson State Park, Sylvan Grove, Kansas, October 30 to November 1, 2026

Hell Creek 100 is a multi-distance trail event presented by Ultraverse Supplements on the Switchgrass mountain bike trail at Wilson State Park. The event offers several distances run as repeated 20-mile loops.

The course is rugged single-track with few trees and frequent views of Wilson Lake. Loop counts are one loop for the 20 mile, three loops for the 100k, five loops for the 100 mile, and seven loops for the Pure Hell 140. The 10k follows a marked short course. Elevation gain by distance: 10k 442 ft, 20 mile 2,024 ft, 100k 6,072 ft, 100 mile 10,120 ft, Pure Hell 140 14,168 ft.

Aid is provided at two manned stations at the start/finish and at Hell Hill, plus one unmanned water station near mile 5. Typical aid items and vegan options are available; some hot food will be offered at night. Runner tracking is provided approximately every 20 miles. Pacers are allowed for the 100 mile and Pure Hell 140 after roughly three laps and may only start from manned aid stations. Crew access is limited to the two manned aid stations. Minimum age is 18.

Finishers receive distance specific swag and awards. A Halloween costume contest with prizes and a veteran discount offered prior to registration are part of the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
