The Helene Cody Cranbury 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk is scheduled for Saturday, September 12, 2026, at Heritage Park in Cranbury, New Jersey. This is the 18th annual running of the event, established in memory of Helene Cody. Distances offered:

Logistics and purpose

Registration fees listed for the events are $25 for the 5K and $20 for the one-mile event; prices increase after August 12, 2026. T-shirts are guaranteed for participants who register by August 6; registrants after that date receive shirts while supplies last. Packet pickup is offered on September 3 at Fleet Feet Princeton and September 4 at the Cranbury branch of Princeton Soup and Sandwich Company, with additional race day packet pickup at Heritage Park. Participants are asked to line up by expected pace, with signs marking pace groups. The event is organized to raise funds for the Helene Cody Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charity that supports youth-led service projects in Central New Jersey and provides local scholarships. Volunteers are requested for parking, registration, course direction, food service, and setup or cleanup; community service verification is available.
