Helenback Race Series
The Helenback Race Series is a trail running event in Helen, GA, offering three race options that start and finish on the field adjoining the Chattahoochee River. The course follows trails around Helen and includes elevation changes; course maps, profiles, and detailed descriptions are provided by the organizer.

Packet pickup is available both on the evening before the races and on race morning at the start/finish area. Parking is provided at the start/finish field for about 150 cars; when that lot is full, overflow parking is located across the river at the outlet mall, with about a 0.25 mile walk back to the field. Directions note entry to Helen on Hwy 17/75/Main Street and a turn onto Brucken Strasse that leads to the start area by the river.
Aid stations are placed on the marathon and half marathon courses, with runners likely to encounter support every 4 to 6 miles. The event enforces cutoff points on the longer courses; runners who miss a cutoff will be given a ride back to the start.
Unicoi State Park is the preferred lodging partner and offers rooms, cabins, and campsites with a promotional rate code 10314. The park is located minutes from the race start and finish and supports access to the local trails. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
