2026 Heisenberg Half Marathon
The Heisenberg Half Marathon is a community running event located in Jacksonville, Florida. This charity run supports First Coast Women’s Services. The event takes place on an urban course that utilizes paved roads, sidewalks, shared-use paths, and bridges. The terrain is generally flat, though participants will experience elevation changes when crossing the Acosta Bridge and Fuller Warren Bridge.

The Half Marathon is designed as a two-loop circuit of the 10k route. Participants should be aware that this is a low-key event without road closures or a police presence. The course is unmarked, and runners are responsible for their own navigation using printed directions provided by the organizers. Because the roads remain open to traffic, participants must obey all traffic laws and use legal crosswalks and signals.
This is a no-frills run, meaning there are no bibs, chip timing, or formal awards. There are no official aid stations along the route, although a water table is located near the start and finish area at the Kings Ave Parking. Participants are expected to carry their own hydration and nutrition. Organizers encourage the use of reflective gear or lights for visibility.
