Heaven's Cradle Twilight Run & Sunset Rendezvous
The Heaven's Cradle Twilight Run & Sunset Rendezvous is scheduled for October 15, 2026 at The Great Lawn on the Union University campus in Jackson, TN. The event takes place on Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day and benefits Heaven's Cradle, an organization that provides caring cradles, memorial and funeral assistance, grief counseling, and ongoing support for families in West Tennessee.
The event program includes both competitive and community elements:
- 5K timed run with chip timing
- 1 Mile fun walk, untimed
The evening features a post-race meal included with race entry (race bib serves as dinner ticket), entertainment, music, vendors, awards, and a program with memorial moments and tributes. Professional memorial signs may be ordered in advance; signs will be placed along the route and available to take home after the event. Ribbons will be available for parents and loved ones who have experienced loss, and all parents will be honored during the program.
Logistics noted by organizers include packet pickup and registration at the Start2Finish Registration Tent on the Great Lawn, campus parking in surrounding lots, and restrooms in the Logos and PAC buildings. A silent auction will be held online in the weeks before the event; auction items must be paid for and collected at or before the event.
