Heaven's Cradle Twilight Run & Sunset Rendezvous
Heaven's Cradle Twilight Run & Sunset Rendezvous takes place on October 15, 2026 at The Great Lawn, Union University, Jackson TN. The event observes Pregnancy & Infant Loss Remembrance Day and benefits the Heaven's Cradle organization, which provides cradles, memorial support, and grief resources for families in West Tennessee.
The event includes these distances:
- 5K timed run with chipped start and finish timing
- 1 Mile fun walk not timed
The evening program combines running and remembrance. Planned elements include a post-race meal for participants and dinner only registrants, memorial moments and tributes, an awards presentation and Heaven's Cradle program, music, vendors, and community fellowship. A silent auction will be held on Facebook in the weeks before the event; items must be paid for and picked up at or before the event. 5K results are available live online and bibs include a QR code to view results.
Logistics noted for participants and visitors include packet pickup on race day at the Start2Finish registration tent, pre-registered check in at the registration tent, walk up registration available online until the race begins, campus parking in surrounding lots, and restrooms in the Logos and PAC buildings.
