Heather's Home 5k, Elmira NY

Heather's Home 5k takes place in Elmira at Eldridge Park on June 6, 2026. The event offers in-person and off-site virtual options and includes a children’s run for younger participants.

The race is linked with Heather's Home, which began in November 2009 in Haiti and now has a second home in Ghana in cooperation with Love Aflame! Worldwide. The homes provide abandoned children with housing, education, family support, and related services.

Virtual race entries may be completed anywhere during the virtual timeframe of June 1 through June 10. All virtual participants receive a race packet by mail after the race; local participants may choose packet pickup or delivery within a 20 mile radius. Race registration includes domestic shipping for packets; international shipping may incur additional fees. Runners may receive a race t shirt for an additional fee.
