Event information
Hearts of Compassion 5K is scheduled for November 8, 2025, at Colonial Heights Baptist Church in Ridgeland, Mississippi (444 Northpark Drive). The event offers both live and virtual participation and includes a 5K and a 1-mile fun run. Packet pickup is available the day before the event and on event day. A silent auction will open roughly one week before the event; proceeds support the Adoption Fund.
Registration and fundraising
Registration opens August 1, 2025 and runs through early November. Listed entry fees are:
- 5K: $30
- 1-Mile Fun Run: $20
- 1-Mile Virtual (ages 12 and under): $20
- 5K Virtual Runner / Volunteer Only: $30
A group discount of $5 off per person applies for groups of five or more. The event raises funds for the Colonial Heights Adoption Fund. The Adoption Fund provides grants and no-interest loans for families pursuing adoption through a partner organization. Donations and auction purchases are credited to the Adoption Fund; stated practice is that 100% of such donations and purchases go directly to the fund.
