Protect Your Peace 5K
The Protect Your Peace 5K is a community centered 5K run and walk held on October 31, 2026 in the Belhaven neighborhood of Jackson, Mississippi. The course starts and finishes at Protect Your Peace Studios near 1048 Greymont Avenue, and the event marks the first Protect Your Peace 5K as part of a five year celebration.
The event distance is 3.1 Miles. Registration opens on September 15, 2026 and closes on October 26, 2026, with a registration fee of $35.00. Registered participants receive a finisher medal, an official event t shirt, a race bib, and access to a pre race packet pickup party on October 30th.
Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers. First place male and female awards are also presented in these age divisions: 16 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, and 60 and over. Overall winners do not also receive an age group award. There is special recognition for Best Costume and Best Group Crew Costume, and a Protect Your Peace Award presented to one participant who embodies movement, encouragement, community and protecting their peace.
