Event Overview
The Heartline Donut Dash Walk/Run for Life is a timed 5K event in Warsaw, Indiana. It starts and finishes at the Kosciusko Health Pavilion on Provident Drive. The route winds through the Lake City Greenway.
Registration Details
General registration costs $30. There is a specific t-shirt deadline; participants who register by September 30th will receive an event shirt in their size. Registrations placed on or after October 1st do not include a shirt but participants still receive swag bags and are eligible for prize drawings and finisher/winner medals. Past years' event shirts may be available for purchase for $5.
Paper registration forms are not available on race day. All same-day registrations must be completed online. A downloadable paper form is available for submissions delivered by the Thursday before the event.
Awards and Features
Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in multiple age categories (9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+). Special "Donut Dash Champion" awards are given to the top three male and female finishers who also eat a donut at each station (participants aged 10 and under are only required to eat donut holes). All finishers receive a medal.
Fundraising Aspect
The event is a fundraiser for Heartline, an organization that provides free services to clients. It aims to reach a $30,000 fundraising goal. Everyone who donates any amount is entered into a donors-only prize drawing. Donations of $50 or more made during registration provide a discount on registration and fees.
