Event overview
Heartbreaker takes place on Saturday February 14, 2026, in DFW, TX 75043. The event is the second edition of the Heartbreaker Half-Marathon and includes multiple distance options and a virtual race option. Distances offered:

The 5K and 10K use the same course, with the 10K run as two laps and the half-marathon as four laps of the half course.
Entries, awards and charity
Registration for 5K, 10K, half-marathon and 1-mile entries includes an event-themed participation t-shirt and a custom finisher medal. T-shirt size guarantee requires registration by 01/31. The Kid's Dash is free; dashers may purchase a t-shirt and finisher medal as add-ons. The 1-mile option is an untimed event and has no age group awards; milers still receive medals and shirts. A virtual option ships the shirt and medal the week of the race.
Age group awards are paid 4 deep across male and female divisions from 0-4 through 80+. Overall awards include overall male and female, masters (40+), and grand masters (60+). Awards are distributed at the event and will not be shipped. The organizer donates portions of profits and all donations to listed charities: American Heart Association (25% of profits), Never Walk Alone Foundation (15% of profits), and Encounter Church (10% of profits).
