Race format, awards and charity
The 1 Mile is an untimed option with no age group awards. The Kid's Dash is a short 100 to 200 meter sprint and is free; dashers may purchase a t-shirt or finisher medal as add-ons. Registration for the 5K, 10K, half-marathon and 1 Mile includes an event t-shirt and a custom finisher medal. Age group awards are offered for the 5K, 10K and half-marathon with awards four deep across standard male and female age divisions. Overall and masters categories also receive medals. Awards are distributed at the event and will not be shipped.
Run Different states it donates a share of profits and donations to partner organizations, including the American Heart Association and Encounter Church (Fate).
