Heartbeats for Life 5K
The Heartbeats for Life 5K is an outdoor sports event held at Lunken Playfield in Cincinnati, Ohio. Sponsored by Cincinnati Right to Life and Cincinnati Life Runners, the event serves to bring the community together while supporting pro-life educational and legislative efforts in Southwestern Ohio. The course at Lunken Playfield offers a scenic environment for all participants.
Participants can choose from the following event options:
- 5K Run: A timed race with multiple age divisions ranging from 14 and under to 70 and over.
- 5K Walk: A non-running event with divisions for participants aged 20 and under through 70 and over.
- Kids Fun Run: A free dash specifically for children aged 10 and under held after the main events.
Registration includes chip timing and a t-shirt while supplies last. Registration is conducted exclusively online, including on the day of the race. Families have the option of a group price, and youth participants 17 and under receive a discounted entry rate. Infants in strollers are permitted in the free kids category but must be registered.
Race day activities include a raffle with winners posted on boards following the conclusion of the event, as well as an awards ceremony for the 5K participants.
