Heart of The Rockies Multisport Festival
The 43rd Heart of The Rockies Multisport Festival is scheduled for July 18 to 19, 2026 at Kinsmen Beach, Invermere B.C. The weekend is organized over two days with the Young Hearts Triathlon for juniors on Saturday and multisport races on Sunday.
Events listed include Sprint and Olympic triathlon distances with a team option, a Gran Fondo, open water swim, plus single sport races and formats such as duathlon, aquathon, aquabike and a fun run. A team event specifically for competitive junior athletes aged 12 to 15 is offered so children can take part across the weekend.
Course details note the swim occurs in Lake Windermere, the bike uses an out-and-back route on Westside Road where fresh tarmac is mentioned, and the run course is a single loop for both Sprint and Olympic competitors. Participant services include a professionally operated race, souvenir top and swim cap, race bib (to be worn in front on the run), run course aid stations stocked with water and gels, post race food and refreshments, and an awards ceremony.
