Heart of The Rockies Multisport Festival 43rd edition
The Heart of The Rockies Multisport Festival takes place July 18 and 19, 2026 at Kinsmen Beach in Invermere BC. The event spans two days and includes races for adults and a youth program for junior athletes.
The swim is held in Lake Windermere. The bike course is an out and back route on Westside Road and the road surface has recently been renewed. The run course is a single loop used by both Sprint and Olympic triathlon competitors. Junior athletes aged 12 to 15 can take part in the Young Hearts Triathlon and may compete as part of a team.
Event formats include Sprint and Olympic triathlon, team races, a Gran Fondo, a run, an open water swim, duathlon and aquathon. The race is professionally operated and participant items include a souvenir top and a souvenir swim cap for swim events. Each competitor receives a race bib which should be worn on the front during the run.
Run course aid stations are stocked with water and gels. Post race food and refreshments are provided and an awards ceremony is held. Results and photos are published after the event.
