Heart of The Rockies Multisport Festival
The 43rd Heart of The Rockies Multisport Festival takes place July 18 and 19, 2026 at Kinsmen Beach in Invermere, British Columbia, in the Columbia Valley.
The weekend includes multiple race formats. Multisport offerings include Sprint and Olympic triathlon races and a team option. Single sport events include a Gran Fondo, a run, an open water swim, as well as duathlon, aquabike and a fun run. A Young Hearts Triathlon is held for competitive junior athletes aged 12 to 15, and that age group may also compete as team members in the main triathlon.
Course details provided for competitors include a swim in Lake Windermere, an out and back cycling route on Westside Road where fresh tarmac has been installed, and a single loop run course used by both Sprint and Olympic competitors.
Race amenities listed for participants include professional race operations, a souvenir top for selected events, a souvenir swim cap for aquatic events, a race bib to be worn on the front during the run, run course aid stations stocked with water and gels, post race food and refreshments, and an awards ceremony. A commemorative cycling jersey has a new design for 2025. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
