Heart of The Rockies Multisport Festival
The Heart of The Rockies Multisport Festival takes place July 18 and 19, 2026 at Kinsmen Beach in Invermere, British Columbia. The two-day event includes triathlon formats (Sprint and Olympic), a Gran Fondo, open water swim, run, duathlon, aquabike and team events.
The swim is held in Lake Windermere. The bike route is an out-and-back on Westside Road, which is noted as having fresh tarmac. The run course is a single loop used by both Sprint and Olympic competitors.
A youth program runs during the weekend. Junior athletes aged 12 to 15 may compete in the Young Hearts Triathlon and take part as team members in the Heart of The Rockies Triathlon, allowing youth participation across the two days.
Race services and inclusions listed for participants include professional race operation, a souvenir top for several events, a souvenir swim cap for aquatics events, a race bib to be worn in front on the run, run course aid stations stocked with water and gels, post race food and refreshments, and an awards ceremony.
